The Kitchen also runs a small canteen where staff and clients are able to purchase snacks and beverages. Daily breakfasts and lunches are prepared for the staff and clients and can be purchased from the kitchen during business hours.
Elder
The Arc's Elder program was started as a way to help the increasing aging population of people we serve. Its activities include ones that gear themselves to a more mature population. Arts and Crafts are daily activities along with light exercise routines and healthy snacks to promote healthy living in an older population. The clients in our elder program are also very active in our elder courtyard with games and gardening. We also offer a nursing component to our Elder program to assist our clients with changing health needs as they age.
